WTF Edition

Ok, so it's been a looooong while since I last posted something. Real Life kept me away from the net for a while but I'm back and here with some WTF moments in products.

The Fetus Cookie Cutter...this is pretty self explanatory but seriously, who in the world would want to eat cookies shaped like unborn babies!?

The Dog Masturbation Doll...again, self explaining but I wonder what kind of sick person wants a sex toy for their dog. One in which they have to clean out the lovely little pouch that holds the dogs...um...leavings. Really? You'd buy this for your dog?

The Playmobile Hazmat set. Really? You want your kids to pretend that they're hazardous waste collectors...well, alrighty then. No accounting for taste I suppose. And I actually really like Playmobile, they have awesome toys, but this one just left me scratching my head.

And last for this entry:

Cat Butt Gum...read that again. CAT BUTT GUM. As in gum you chew...that tastes like cat butt? Or just comes in a cat butt shaped container? Cause either way, still sounds way too gross for me, sorry.

Until next time, stay strange my friends!

How to speed up your Life

Last vid from Liquid Generation I think I'll post, but awesome and although it's an ad for Sprint, this is really helpful! Well...most of it is, the parking one just scares the daylights out of me.

Talkin' Animals, British Style

Found another from Liquid Generation I had to share, I laughed so hard at this one! Some parts may not be safe for work or kids, but go for it ;)
British humor from ‘Walk On The Wild Side'

7 Billion

Found this vid on Liquid Generation and had to share. You'll see why when you hit Play.

Keanu Reeves...is Immortal? Um...No.

Ok, this has been a Meme for so long no one remembers how it started, much like the "Sad Keanu" meme. But this one just annoys me a little so I figured I'd try my hand at ending it, or at least educating people a little.

First, this is what people see as "Proof" that Keanu is Immortal:

And now we have "Jesus Keanu" of all things:

Can anyone say Photoshop?

BUT! I have proof that he actually is a real, honest to goodness, plain old human being. He was once a child!

So come on people, sure the guy ages gracefully but he AGES! Get off the Immortal kick and leave the bad actor alone.

ROFL

I ALWAYS wondered what Kanye was hiding under those hideous sunglasses! XD

Ok ok, I know this is obviously fake (DUH) but when I saw it I laughed so hard I nearly pissed myself! Had to share it, as goofy and juvenile as it is, so there you go, enjoy!

Product FAILS

These are products that I personally feel are fails in both the *apparent* need for them and also for just poor planning on designers parts. My opinion only, so take it all with a grain of salt and possinly a nice stiff drink to up the hilarity.

First we have...The BJ Light!
Really? You need a light for this? Ok, so going down on your man or woman may not be the most graceful thing at times but it's pretty easy to do with a ceiling light, floor lamp or candle giving you some sort of light in the room if you need it. Most do it in the dark so why need a light to begin with? Plus the fact that it looks like a headset for telemarketing...

Next we have... Chicken in a Can!
Ok ewww...gelatinous pre-cooked fowl in a can...in it's own nasty gelatinous looking 'gravy'. I'm not even sure that is gravy and frankly, the idea of what it could be makes me ill. I've seen videos on YouTybe showing people eatting this stuff and gagged the whole time. In fact, most of them were gagging too so it's obviously as hideous in taste as it is in looks. I'd rather eat Spam.

And last, but certainly not least since I have a ton more weird things to add later, are the Horse Undies!
Seriously Japan, WTF!? I...I can't even talk about these save that they give whole new meaning to "Ride the Pony"...

Until next time my friends...stay weird!

Woman claims to own the Sun...

A woman from Spain's soggy region of Galicia, Angeles Duran, said Friday she had registered the star at a local notary public as being her property.

"There was no snag, I backed my claim legally, I am not stupid, I know the law. I did it but anyone else could have done it, it simply occurred to me first." That is a quote directly from her.

To read the full story go here: http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpps/news/offbeat/spanish-woman-claims-she-now-owns-sun-dpgonc-20101126-gc_10808147

She want's to also tax everyone on the planet for use of the Sun, with 50% going to Spain's government, 20% to Spain's pension plan, 10% to research, 10% to end world hunger and the remaining 10% for herself...

She plans on giving most of the money to Spain? When EVERYONE uses the Sun? What's wrong with this picture? Personally I think she is both crazy and stupid, though she argues against that. I know that there is a law saying no country can own the moon, but apparently the Sun is fair game? I don't think so, honey!

A) The Sun supports all of us, not just Spain, so get over yourself.
B) Owning the Sun is just as ridiculous as the guy that claimed the moon and the rest of the planets.
and C) What the F-word are you thinking?!How selfish can you be to use most of the so-called taxes on this ridiculous venture to forward only your own country? When all of us use it?

Please...Angeles Duran, never breed. It's for everyone's good.

UPDATE!
Apparently, Ms. Duran has no legal ground to stand on, the Sun is still free for all. Like we didn't already know that.

Best. Shopping. Trip. EVER.

I didn't take this, found it on Google but man, wouldn't this be the best if you saw it in your grocery store?!

I do not agree with this concept at all...

I found this on The Daily What and I have to agree with the comment, I don't like this at all.

Architect Hideyuki Nakayama and door handles and levers manufacturer UNION came up with glass doorknobs that let you see into the room the door leads to and anything going on in it...

Am I the only one that thinks this a horrible idea and an invitation to invade someones privacy? Sheer lunacy, in my opinion...

*shakes head* I wonder so much lately what's happened to common sence and decency in this world...

Ok no, I have a comment. Lots in fact.

This item is made by Atech, http://www.atechflash.com/products-icartaplus.html , and is sold on Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/iCarta-iPod-Stereo-Tissue-Holder/dp/B000HWX1J8 , for iPod users who apparently can't live long enough without their music to go to the bathroom.

What? You can't wait five minutes to listen to your Lady Gaga or Sting? Really?

And you have $100 to blow on a glorified toilet paper dispenser? Must be nice to have disposable income like that in this day and age.

Here's the specs on the thing from Atechs site:

Features:

*Built-in Rechargeable Battery provides up to 8 hours of playtime on full charge
*Plays music and podcasts from your iPhone (2G/3G/3GS/4G) / iPod players
*4 Integrated high performance moisture-free speakers deliver exceptional
clarity and high quality sound
*Charges your iPod while playing music
(will not Charge iPhone 3G/3GS, iPod Touch 2G and up, iPod nano 4G and up)
*Line-in option to play music from MP3, CD, or other Music Players
*Shuffle option allows you to play iPod shuffle(1G only)
*Integrated Bath tissue holder that can be easily folded as a stereo dock
*Requires AC Power (AC Adapter included)
*Easy to setup Wall Mount
*Can be used as tabletop Stereo setup

My fave is "Can be used as tabletop Stereo setup" ........

Really?! You want a toilet paper dispenser on your table? Wow...ok then, no accounting for taste I guess. It would be a talking point for friends coming over. Not that that's a good thing.

If you can't stand the five or so minutes it takes to go to the bathroom, you know there are these really cool things called headphones you could always use. And they're cheap. But hey, who am I to judge what people do with there money?

*head hits the desk in disgust*

Cutest thing EVER

Ok, I'm not normally the cute type, but Keepon, a little dancing puffball of awesome, was too good to not share to those that haven't seen him yet.

Keepon, in the video seen below dancing to Spoon's 'I Turn my Camera On', was created by Hideki Kozima and programmed by Marek Michalowski. He was designed to study social development by interacting with children.

Here's the Wiki page for little Keepon: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keepon

Isn't he adorable? And the song rocks too, so it's a two for one win! *gushes of love*

Animals of a Different Color

Animals with odd coloring have always interested me. Albino, melanistic, piebald...they all just illicit so much wonder that I feel like sharing some of my favorite images I've found from around the web.

They apparently fascinate other people too since zoo's and aquariums have displays of oddly colored critters either as permanent residents or travelling exhibits. They always draw huge crowds and I've even had the pleasure of seeing a large albino Alligator at the Cleveland Zoo when I was little.

The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Conn. has three lobsters that are uniquely colored: Blue, Pumpkin and Calico.

So here are some pictures I've found on Google; they're lumped by color group. I hope you enjoy looking at them like I do! Who knows? Maybe you'll have a chance to see one for yourself.

Albinos:

Melanistic:

Piebald:

Other:

The purple polar bear is Pelusa in Mendoza City zoo Argentina. The color came from medication for a skin illness.
The purple squirrel is Pete and he was found at Meoncross School in Stubbington, Hampshire. One theory is that he chewed on a purple pen and while grooming himself he spread the ink all over, but that's definately not conclusive.

As you can see, the animal world has all sorts of things that boggle the mind. Normal need not apply. *chuckle*
